Hands Helping Hands, Inc. 1st Annual Community Partnership Coat Giveaway

Hands Helping Hands, Inc. (H3), a 501(c)3 local Non-profit committed to positively impacting Oakland communities, conducted its first annual Coat Giveaway Saturday, March 19th 2016, highlighting also for the Oakland based organization, its eighth year anniversary serving the greater Bay Area.

Youth from Voices of Hope COGIC located at 939 – 35th Street in West Oakland were given coats from the Hands Helping Hands, Inc. Coat Drive during their Youth Day Service.

In collaboration with Healthy Communities (HCI), A Mobile Medical Unit Outreach Program that provided health screenings at the event, with other supporting community and Faith based organizations, hundreds of displaced low-income families and homeless persons received coats, health screenings and encouragement at the 2-day event, distributing to homeless sites and Faith Based Organizations throughout the Oakland Area, ending Sunday, March 20th, 2016.
